Cherie H. Moshier, AIA, NCARB Partner
Ms. Moshier founded Moshier Studio in 2003, as a successor firm to a sole proprietorship established in 1998, with the vision of working with a variety of non-profit and commercial clients, with a high level of personal attention.
Gary P. Moshier, AIA, LEED AP BD+C , CPHD Partner
Mr. Moshier joined Moshier Studio in 2003 and brings significant design and project management skills, as well as expertise in sustainable design, to the firm's clients. He was a co-founder of the Green Building Alliance, the USGBC Affiliate in Western Pennsylvania, and championed one of the LEED pilot projects in 1999. Gary is a Certified Passive House Designer and Trainer by Passive House International.
Leanne O' Toole
Ms. O'Toole joined Moshier Studio in 2006 to strengthen the firm's capabilities in interior design and detailing.
Kevin Kenna, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C
Mr. Kenna joined Moshier Studio in 2009 to strengthen the firm's capabilities in detailing and LEED services. He holds a LEED accreditation in Building Construction and Design.
Emel Guner-Ekin, Associate AIA
Ms. Guner-Ekin joined Moshier in 2019 to strengthen the firm's capabilities in detailing and interior design.
Moshier Studio is an architectural firm in the Chateau neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Our partners are Cherie H. Moshier, AIA and Gary P. Moshier, AIA. The present firm was established in 2003 as a successor firm to a sole proprietorship established by Cherie in 1998.
Our clients are interested in high-performance and sustainable work and learning environments, and recognize the value of our hands-on approach.
Most of our clients own, occupy and operate the buildings we design. We guide such owners through a process where stakeholders are heard, and responsible use of funds is demonstrated. This leads to a facility that supports and enhances their mission. We use REVIT Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other visulaization and modeling tools to explore our designs so that our clients have the best information possible to make the important decisions that are part of any building project.
Moshier Studio principals are members of AIA Pittsburgh, U.S. Green Building Council, and The Green Building Alliance and the International Passive House Association.
Moshier Studio is a Woman Owned Business and is certified as a Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of Maryland.
